Layer structure

02 — Structure
01
Overlay
Polyester or polycarbonate, graphics printed on the underside — the graphics do not wear in use.
02
Embossing and windows
Key embossing, display windows and indicator openings.
03
Spacer layer
The spacer keeps the switches in place and sets the total thickness of the product.
04
Circuit layer
Printed silver conductors and snap-dome switches — clear tactile feedback.
05
Connection
FFC/ZIF connection with a customer-specific pin order to the device electronics.
06
Mounting adhesive
Industrial-grade adhesive — reliable fixing even on demanding surfaces.

Printed electronics is a multilayer structure in which every layer is dimensioned to the application: wear resistance of the overlay, tactile feedback, sealing and the connection to the device electronics.

The structure is always defined by the application together with the customer's product development — we help with material choices already at the design stage.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Question not on the list? Our expert replies within one working day.

Ask an expert →
Which materials can heating elements be made from?

The material range is broad and the choice always depends on the application — temperature, chemicals, UV exposure and the mounting surface decide. Our expert proposes the most suitable options based on a drawing or a description of the application.

What series sizes do you manufacture?

From single prototypes to large volume series. Digital methods make small batches possible without tooling costs; series production is scaled to need.

Can I get a sample or a prototype before ordering?

Yes — we make prototypes and zero series for approval before tooling investments and the start of series production.

How fast do you deliver?

Delivery time depends on the product and series size. Prototypes and series production on the agreed schedule — buffer stocks secure continuous availability.
