Our story
02 — HISTORYTekniseri is founded
Tekniseri starts out as a manufacturer of labeling products for demanding industrial customers. Over the years the expertise grows from screen printing to membrane switches, insulation and printed electronics — the company grows, enters new markets and builds long-term partnerships with its customers.

Karnell Group AB becomes owner
Karnell is a long-term, committed owner of Nordic industrial companies, creating value over the long run.
Sealmaker Finland Oy joins the group
Sealing, insulation, damping, protection and packaging solutions strengthen the group's material expertise. The Rauma unit starts operating the same year.
SMF-Skylt joins the group
AB Svenska Maskinskyltfabriken (Linköping, founded 1916) brings printed metal sub-assemblies to the range.
Karnell lists on Nasdaq Stockholm
The listing brings long-term financial stability and more resources for developing our services — making Tekniseri an even stronger and more reliable partner.

Our team in Suzhou has served customers in Asia since 2010, in close cooperation with the team in Finland.
Metal plates have been made in Pori for decades — our partnerships with customers are strong and long-lasting.
